ADMISSION NOTIFICATIONS

ADMISSION POLICY

The admission at Indian Institute of Fashion Technology is open for both male and female students who are keenly enthusiastic to make a career in Fashion and Apparel Industry.
Admissions are done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and on a first cum first serve basis subject to availability of seats.

The fresh batches of training programs commence on 1st of August and 1st of January every year for all Post Graduate and Under Graduate programs. Admissions are open for all Post Graduate and Under Graduate programs from April 1st to 30th of July for courses commencing in August and from November 1st to December 31st for courses commencing in January.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

All students who desire to register for the Institute's program may obtain the prospectus and application form by paying Rs. 500/- by cash in person or by sending a DD of Rs.500/- in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY .

After obtaining the prospectus, fill up the enclosed application form and submit it in person or by speed post/ courier to THE DIRECTOR, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY# 3,1/6, M.C Road, 1 st Cross, Vijayanagar, Bangalore- 560079 before the prescribed date along with the following:

1. Original Certificates / provisional certificate of qualifying examination.
2. Fees for first semester in the form of Demand Draft / Crossed in favour of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology payable at par / at Bangalore. Out station students can fill up applications and send it by speed post/ courier To THE DIRECTOR, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY # 3,1/6, M.C Road, 1 st Cross, Vijayanagar, Bangalore- 560079. Before the prescribed date along with attested photo copies of mark sheet and certificate / provisional certificate of qualifying 0examination.

On receipt of the filled up application form, Indian Institute of Fashion Technology will send a provisional admission confirmation letter subject to availability of seats and the student fulfilling eligibility requirements. The student will then have to send by speed post or courier a Demand Draft for the first semester fees with in one week of receipt of provisional admission confirmation letter. The original certificate will be required to be submitted in person. Final admission will be made after receiving the first semester fees and verification of certificates only.

The students may also use the online registration form available on this web site and follow the rest of the procedure as mentioned above.
For Masters of Fashion Management the students would be required to consistently perform well in the Practical tests and Examinations, Assignments, Record submission, as well as Internal Assessment by Faculties. They will be further required to attend and pass Practical Semesters and Exams in order to qualify for award of Post Graduate Degree/ Degree/ Diploma Certificates.

EXAMINATIONS:

Examinations will be conducted by the Karnataka State Women’s University at Indian Institute of Fashion Technology Centers. Students who have less than 75% attendance and students who have any Fee arrears including Exam Fees will not be permitted to attend the Examination.

CERTIFICATION:

Successful candidates will be issued with relevant Certificates i.e. Post Graduate Degree/ Degree/ Diploma’s after completion of University formalities.
