in Textile / Garment industry with minimum
qualification of SSLC
This course is intended for working professionals in
the Garment / Textile / Accessories Industry and who
would like to upgrade their skills in the areas of Garment
Production. Quality and Apparel Merchandising, and who
would like to acquire a formal certification in the
above areas.
COURSE CONTENT
Module - A . Textile Science
. Garment Production Technology
The training for this program is being imparted through study material which will be sent through post / e-mail and supplemented by video Cd’s. Assignments have to be completed and submitted at frequent intervals for periodical evaluation. At the end of the program a project report has to be submitted which will form the basis for certification. A Diploma Certificate will be awarded by the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY.
ADMISSION POLICY
Admissions for Distance Education Program is done through out the year and fresh batches commence on the first of every month
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
All students who desire to register for the Institute's program obtain the prospectus and application form by paying Rs. 200/- by cash in person or by sending a DD of Rs.300/- in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY .
After obtaining the prospectus, fill up the enclosed application form and submit it in person or by speed post/ courier to THE DIRECTOR, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY# 3,1/6, M.C Road, 1 st Cross, Vijayanagar, Bangalore- 560079 before the prescribed date along with the following:
1. Photo copies of Original Certificates / provisional certificate of qualifying examination
2. Fees for program Rs. 24,000/- (Rupees Twenty Four Thousand Only)in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology payable at par at Bangalore .
