WHAT IS MY JOB PROFILE ?
The educational consultants/admission offices will be required to canvass, and give publicity for the above courses, give proper guidance and counseling and see that admissions to the above courses take place


CAN I COLLECT CASH ?
No
The educational consultants are prohibited from collecting any amount /fees from students in cash except for sale of prospectus and application form. All fees shall be paid by the students by crossed demand draft in favour of "Indian Institute of Fashion Technology" payable at Bangalore.
The educational consultants can collect the crossed DD and forward it to the IIFT Bangalore with a covering letter

HOW WILL I BE PAID ?
The educational consultants will be retained on the incentive basis initially for a period of 3 years and based on their performance at the end of 3rd year a salary based appointment can be considered. In case of exceptional performance they can be confirmed on salary basis even earlier. In case of students who pay in installment then incentive would be paid for the amount of fees collected and subsequently as installments are collected they will receive them.

INCENTIVE DETAILS
B.Sc degree in Fashion and Apparel Design - Rs 5000/- per student
Post graduate Diploma in Fashion design and production management- Rs 3000/- per student
Post graduate Diploma in Apparel merchandising and Fashion retail management- Rs 3000/- per student

WHAT PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL CAN I GET TO HELP ME FUNCTION ? DO I NEED TO PAY FOR THE PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL ? WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING THEM ?
The following promotional material are available at IIFT, Bangalore for use by educational consultants on payment.
1. Prospectus of IIFT for Rs 100/- .
2. Prospectus for B.Sc FAD is Rs 100 for students and consultants
3. CD of IIFT corporate film Rs 150/- for consultants
4. Brochure of IIFT/KLE'S college is Rs 20 each.
5. Floppy containing power point presentation of IIFT programme Rs 15 each.
Please enclose an additional sum of Rs 50/- for postage.
The consultants may kindly send a covering letter mentioning the promotional material they need along with a crossed demand draft for the requisite amount along with Rs 50/- for postage and send it to the director IIFT Bangalore.
You shall receive the material with in seven days of receipt of your request along with DD. No request for sending the material by VPP or for adjusting the charges from future earnings will be entertained. Any such letter received shall be ignored and no reply will be sent.

The educational consultants shall not make any other representation / claim other than what is published in the brochure or informed by IIFT as regards the cause their scope, avenues etc.

CAN I GET STUDENTS FROM ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD ? IS THERE ANY GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS ?
The educational consultants can get students from any place in the world and there is no restriction on the geographical area of functioning.
The educational consultants should verify the bonafides of the students they are sending.

CAN I CONDUCT SEMINARS TO CREATE AWARENESS ? WILL I GET SUPPORT OF IIFT DURING THE SEMINARS ?
The educational consultants are also permitted to conduct various career guidance seminars at colleges / educational institutions in their areas based on the information supplied to them by Indian Institute of Fashion Technology. IIFT would also help the consultants conduct these programme with a representative of IIFT coming down to your place and counseling the students provided there are atleast 30 potential students who are interested in this field.
