- Fifteen day EDP training program for 30 rural women on ladies dress making at Dharmastala (Karnataka) with support of small industries service institute, MINISTRY OF SSI AND ARI, GOVT. OF INDIA and Sri Kshethra Dharmastala Rural Development Project, Ujjire, Dharmasthala
- Several Batches of EDP trainings on Garment Manufacturing and Marketing were conducted for VRS optees of central public sector with the support of small industries service institute, ministry of SSI and ARI, Govt. of India
- MINISTRY OF DEFENCE TRAINING PROGRAMS: Retiring Military personnel were trained in the areas of Garment Making and Marketing, Supported by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
- RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS OF IIFT / WORLD BANK AIDED PROJECTS: A 15 day skill development training program on Fashion Dress Making and Marketing to self help group members of the SWASHAKTI project (A World Bank and International for Agricultural Development aided project of the Central Government). The training was conducted from 01 Jan 2004 till 05 Mar 2004 at three districts in Karnataka i.e., Kolar, Chitradurga and Bellary. 350 women were trained in the above residential training program in the First phase.
- GOVT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF TEXTILES JOINT TRAINING PROGRAMS: Government of India, Ministry of Textiles, Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner, Bangalore and Indian Institute of Fashion Technology have entered into a Public Private Partnership to jointly conduct training programs to generate Human Resources to meet the requirements of the Nation’s Garment Industries.
- SUVARNA VASTRA NEETHI: The Govt. of Karnataka, Department of Handlooms & Textiles, under the Suvarna Vastra Neethi (The New Textile Policy 2008-13) has selected Indian Institute of Fashion Technology and supported it financially to establish 5 Skill Development Centre in the following districts of Karnataka; Belgaum, Bijapur, Chamarajnagar, Hassan & KGF. These sill development centres equipt with state of art, modern machine & equipment and Audio Visual Aids.
