Click!<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-9i8dc\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_Students_Setup_A_Vintage_Photography_Window_Display_They_Nailed_It_%E2%80%93_This_Is_How\"><\/span><strong>Our Students Setup A Vintage Photography Window Display &amp; They Nailed It &#8211; This Is How<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-fb2v7\">Window Display is one of the topics taught as part of the syllabus to our students of <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost\/iift\/Course\/diploma-in-fashion-designing-boutique-management-2\/\">Diploma in Fashion Designing &amp; Boutique Management<\/a>. We make sure that emphasis is laid on the practical aspects of the course and hence students were asked to set up a window display based on a theme allotted by our faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-3gdkk\">Fashion Designing &amp; Photography always go hand in hand. So, one batch of students was given Vintage Photography as the theme. On the 24th of May 2019, the batch put their heads together to set up this beautiful-looking window display of Vintage photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iiftbangalore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/323ba3_360fc6ae59f640e59b9572f5a6d60ec0_mv2-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-147\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-4orub\">Before we get into details of what exactly students did to put together this Window display, allow me to give you a very brief idea of Vintage Photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-32ou9\">Everyone knows what photography is but only a few know that there are different styles of photography that a photographer can actually offer. One of those styles is Vintage Photography. It\u2019s called Vintage Photography because of the fact that it tries to mimic old photo processes and denotes a different time period. For example, a picture that\u2019s photographed in today\u2019s times but is processed to look like an older photograph. Though there are lots of ways of doing it, one of the ways to go about it is to add a sepia tone to the photograph, or as our students did here, set up a window display to mimic an old-time and photograph it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-32bmo\">Now that you have an idea about Vintage Photography, let\u2019s have a look at our student\u2019s beautiful work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-16shk\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lights_Camera_Click\"><\/span><strong>Lights! Camera! Click!<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-d72vv\">The overall look was quite appealing as the colors involved were Black and White, representing the vintage era and giving a feel to it. The whole setup had that retro feel to it. A very tastefully designed icon of Vintage Photography is placed in the background. Black &amp; White photos of old-time in the backdrop. The creativity was visible all over, especially the replica of an old Camera placed in a corner, which transports you to your grandfather&#8217;s time. Black and White balloons hung from the roof carried old photos, dangling and swaying, as if making their presence felt in Selfie Era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-esfag\">There were many props kept on the table with a board GRAB A PROP AND STRIKE. The enthusiastic team invited all invitees to have a pic with props, making them soak in Black and White fervor. In the authentic Black and White environment, the batch placed a black mannequin with a white hat, dressed in a yellow dress. This was probably to add a tinge of hue in the vintage era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-e2n1l\">The awesome setup, was the testimony of a lot of hard work, passion, creativity, innovation and will to excel. Deserved to be graded as an Excellent Window Display.
